Kartepe

Our confernce this year was in Kartepe (snow mountain), although there was no snow in August. It was beautiful and a nice cool break from the heat in the city. It rained several nights - thunderstorms - which we hardly ever get in Istanbul, it was nice. There was a lift up the mountain to the top and you can see the hotel from there. We were above the clouds sometimes, the kids thought that was fun. Chad laid on the hammock that was hanging off the side of a mountain, it was steep on the other side!
