Kaden Locked Out

Since Kaden learned to walk he has been into more and more things. He is also very strong. He can open doors and he can even open the refrigerator door. When he is not sleeping we have been keeping the doors to all the rooms except the room we are in and his bedroom locked. This has helped so much! I know he isn't off dumping kool-aid all in the refrigerator, turning on the dishwasher or filling the washing machine with soap. He also likes to get into everyone's drawers and dump things out, or bring you things that belong to you. Sometimes it seems like when I am cleaning up one mess he is making two more.
He is learning to obey the word "no", although not always immediately. He does walk up to somethings and point and say "no, no". He likes his routine, every day when the kids leave for school he says "bye bye" to them at the door, then he runs to the window and waits till he sees them and says "bye" again. If the phone rings he is very concerned that someone answer it. The other day Chad's cell phone rang and Kaden was going to get it when I said "no", so he stopped, but then he ran to the bedroom where Chad was exercising and was adamantly pointing to the living room and saying "daddy, daddy".
So, this is a glimpse of life with our precious baby Kaden. He keeps us on our toes and he keeps us laughing.
