Last weekend we went to our friend Murat's wedding. I didn't get a good picture of the two of them looking at the camera. The wedding itself is in a wedding parlor. The bride, groom, their two witnesses and the guy in charge of the ceremony sit behind a large table and it takes about 5 minutes for him to talk and them to say "I Do". Afterward we all went outside and they stood to the side and then a "line" formed and we went through and pinned them with money. See below. There was also a reception, which we didn't go to. Usually the receptions are later in the evening and consist of LOUD music, Turkish dancing and a lot of smoke. Not really our thing, instead we went to Starbucks and sat and talked.
