Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow - Make it STOP!

It has been snowing for 4 days straight almost. It has been very windy and snowing lightly but consistantly. However, last night it snowed big flakes all night. We are covered in a white blanket. Last night we lost power, but only for about an hour. Which is normal around here, although I was worried for a bit we would loose it for good. We have heard stories of people who don't have electric or water. We are so thankful to be in our new house. The windows keep out the wind, rain and snow and our radiators keep our house warm. This is such a blessing, as our last house was drafty, leaky and when it was really cold outside, it was cold inside. Ashton was supposed to go back to school on Monday, but school has been postponed for one more week. They won't go back till Feb 6, but they are extending school by one week in the summer, which could throw a kink into our plans of when to leave for the states this summer. Some friends of ours are on their way across the city to the hospital to have their baby! Good luck Smithler!
